We embarked on a monumental journey on March 8th, 2026 from Gangotri which will conclude on April 3rd, 2026, at Ganga Sagar. This journey, is a relay marathon dedicated to the spirit of Maa Ganga.
The relay run for the Maa Ganga will pass through various sacred destinations such as Uttarkashi, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Garhmukteshawr, Pryagraj, Varanasi, and will conclude its journey at Ganga Sagar, while unfurling the message of unity, sustainability, environment protection, and national responsibility.
This marathon is not merely a test of physical endurance but is a stride toward a unified and healthier society dedicated to safeguarding our rivers and environment along with ensuring an addiction free society. Our vision rests on the three pillars of transformation of the pulse of our planet which are Saving Our Rivers, Strength in Unity, and a Race Against Addiction, that is Reclaiming Our Youth.
1. The Pulse of Our Planet: Saving Our Rivers
Water is the lifeblood of our civilization, yet our rivers face unprecedented challenges. Through this run, we aim to educate every community along the route from Gangotri to Ganga Sagar along with making this a national and international movement about the critical importance of water conservation and environmental stewardship.
By ‘Running for Maa Ganga’ we are making a collective pledge to restore the ecological health of our waterways and ensure that “Save Water, Save Life” is not just a slogan, but a lived reality.
2. Strength in Unity and Humanity
A river is formed by countless drops moving in the same direction. Similarly, this marathon seeks to bridge the divides of geography, culture, and background by bringing humanity from different walks of life together under one collective purpose of protecting rivers and reclaiming the environment. By running together, we demonstrate that when we are united by a common cause that is ‘the protection of our mother nature,’ we are unstoppable. This event is a platform for cultural exchange and a celebration of our shared heritage.
3. A Race Against Addiction: Reclaiming Our Youth
One of the most vital aspects of our mission is the fight against drug addiction. We believe that the discipline, resilience, and community found in athletics offer a powerful alternative to the shadows of substance abuse.
By promoting a culture of fitness and mental well-being, we want to inspire our youth to choose the “natural high” of achievement and health over the destructive path of addiction. This run is for every individual seeking a fresh start and every family fighting for a drug-free future.
