Sanatani Ganga Foundation proudly announces Paryavaran Chetna Yatra 2026 & Gangotsav Bihar, a landmark environmental and cultural movement dedicated to river conservation, sustainable living, and widespread public awareness across India.
The Yatra will be held from 8 March to 30 April 2026, covering a massive 1700 KM route from Gangotri to Patna. Designed to inspire change, this initiative aims to mobilize citizens, youth, and communities along the Ganga towards a greener and more responsible way of living.

Bihar Chapter: 15 March – 30 April 2026
Beginning 15 March 2026, the Bihar leg will intensify environmental education, youth involvement, riverbank cleaning efforts, and community activities. This phase prepares the ground for the grand celebration—Gangotsav Bihar.
